Listen up, Men!
The loyalty of a poor man is suspect—always. Not because he’s a bad person, but because loyalty without testing is a joke. You can’t measure a man’s worth when he has nothing to lose. Real character, real loyalty? You see it when he’s got power, wealth, and influence—when he can do whatever he wants and still chooses to stand by you. Until then, you’re just guessing.
Power is the ultimate truth-teller. A powerless man has no choice but to stay humble. But give him authority, give him control, and watch how he moves. Does he protect those who helped him rise? Or does he stomp on their necks to prove he’s arrived? Power doesn’t corrupt—it shines a spotlight on who you really are.
Wealth? Same deal. A broke man talks a big game about loyalty, but give him money and you’ll find out the truth. Will he honor his responsibilities or waste it all trying to flex for fake friends? Wealth separates the men from the boys, and most of you can’t handle it.
Influence is where intentions are exposed. Weak men abuse it; strong men respect it. The weak crave influence to feed their egos, but the strong use it to build others. If you think a man is loyal without seeing him in a position of influence, you’re gambling—and the odds aren’t in your favor.
Men, stop trusting untested loyalty. True character shows when power, money, and influence are in play. And when it’s your turn, make sure you don’t become the weak man you despise. Power isn’t a privilege—it’s a test. Pass it, or get out of the way.
